TIMES AND LOCATION

The festival will be held using the following timeframe:

Saturday, April 10, 2010, 9:00 AM until 5:00 PM
Sunday, April 11, 2010, 9:00 AM until 5:00 PM

The festival will be held at the Loxley Municipal Park located off Hwy 59 in Loxley. Friday set up is encouraged for all arts, crafts and food exhibitors. The Friday set up must be done before 7pm. Set ups may be done on Saturday, April 10th, but must be accomplished in its entirety before 8:00 AM. One vehicle will be allowed to park behind each exhibitor's lot.

NOTE: For the safety of our other exhibitors and patrons we require that once a vehicle is parked, it can’t be moved until 5:00 PM on Saturday and 5:00 PM on Sunday. No vehicle will be allowed in the festival area after 8am on Saturday. We DO NOT provide electrical or water hook ups for RV's or campers. RV's and campers must be self-contained. No hookups are allowed after festival hours as well. Vehicles must have a parking pass in the windshield to park in festival area.

Take down is scheduled from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Sunday. Exhibitors must remain the entire duration of the festival in order to be invited to future festivals. Exceptions may be made by the festival chairperson on an individual basis, but only in cases of extreme emergencies.

FESTIVAL CANCELLATION

The festival may be cancelled, without notice, due to inclement weather, natural disaster, or national emergency. The Baldwin County Strawberry Festival Committee will make such determination and inform the participants and the public of the decision. Decisions regarding the cancellation of the festival will be made in a timely manner consistent with the circumstances. If the festival is cancelled due to inclement weather, no refunds will be given.

PROMOTION

Strawberry Festival Committee will advertise over a period of several months in local, state and regional magazines, newspapers, radio and television.
